ABOUT CÉCILE
FROM THE MOUNTAINS TO CARE
Originally from the lower Valais region, Cécile was born to an Italian mother and a Swiss father, growing up at the crossroads of two cultures. From her mother, she instilled a deep sensitivity toward human nature, while her father instilled in her the discipline of a warrior. During her childhood, she preferred to follow the trails alongside her Italian grandmother, absorbing fascinating stories rather than playing with other children. It was during her summers spent in the Apennines, the mountains of her mother's family, that her connection with nature was strengthened.
As a teenager, the mountains seized her and never let go. Mountaineering, climbing, and skiing became her lifeblood. Every turn in the deep snow, every rope maneuver, every stroke of the ice axe elevates her, even believing in her own immortality.
BIRTH OF A LIFE OF ADVENTURE
First big trip.
Immersed in the tundra of a Greenland fjord, six weeks of total autonomy, far from everything, where only the elements dictate the rules. These moments shared with her climbing companions are treasures forever engraved in her heart. This journey is only the beginning. Her taste for adventure intensifies even more as she climbs and skis in the Alps, but always with a clan, fighting spirits alongside whom she shares high-altitude bivouacs and the warmth of fires. After her federal maturity, straying from the beaten track, Cécile takes a year to explore elsewhere. Heading for Western Canada, British Columbia. There, a deep calling resonates within her, an irresistible song that invites her to settle down. With no way back, she abandons her Swiss university plans and embarks on a new adventure, that of a life in Canada. While training in outdoor tourism, the Canadian wilderness fulfills her completely.
His ultimate quest: to become a mountain guide.
She traces this path on the ground, between Europe, Canada, and the United States. She climbs peaks and cliffs, hurtles down snowy slopes, respectfully soaking up the energy of the mountains. Alpine adventures and experiences accumulate.
REBORN IN THE TRIAL
With a Canadian university degree in hand, a brutal twist of fate struck her. A knee injury. She returned to Switzerland to repair and recover that limb. Three years later, her other knee also broke. Rage filled her heart. The ice axe and rope were thrown down with fury, and she fell into a dark period. Her health wavered. But it was in the abyss of this fall that she would reinvent herself.
A radical change, but a return to basics. A job in an organic store becomes her new field of exploration. She trains and experiments. At that time, professional obstacles were multiplying, and worn out, she accepted this path without really believing in it. Over time, helping others led her to discover a new life mission. She developed a taste for it and became the manager a few years later.
CHANGE OF COURSE
Cécile also delved into the world of medicinal plants, completing a course in herbalism. The adventure didn't end there. Driven by a deep desire to create, the idea of making raw juices from organic vegetables and fruits grew. Each extraction became an act of care for her customers. The power of the earth was there. "Fil Vivant" was born, a small juice company.
NEW HORIZON, BONE-SETTING
It wasn't so much the training itself that led Cécile to bone-setting, but rather her encounter with Marcos Drake. This man, with his surprising and inspiring personality, encouraged her to evolve. Fascinated by the teacher as much as by the art he imparts, she initially attended several training courses at the Swiss Institute of Health and Longevity, before delving into bone-setting.
And so, Cécile invites you to step through the doors of her universe. Although she has not followed the path of a mountain guide, she will lead you to another summit. Attentive to the ailments of body and soul, she offers direction, like Ariadne's thread, to those seeking their way through the twists and turns of existence.
