THE BONE-SETTING

THE ORIGINS

Bone setting, practiced by bone setters, is a traditional healing method that aims to put bones end to end through manipulation and mobilization. The English word "bone setter," which refers to bone setters, literally translates as "bone setter," emphasizing the manual and structural dimension of this practice.

ANCESTRAL KNOW-HOW

"Bone-setter" is a word that evokes tradition, mystery, and a connection with the human body and all living things. This ancestral profession, long passed down orally, is now finding its place in complementary health approaches.

The bone-setter is someone who, through a subtle touch, restores tension, blockage, or dislocation: bones, muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia. They act where the problem has taken root, without breaking or forcing, and with deep respect for the body. "With the skill of the hand," they manipulate patients and their bodies. It is a holistic approach that considers the body as a whole and aims to promote the body's natural self-healing abilities.

The benefits of bone-settering are numerous. By releasing osteoarticular tension and realigning the bones, this practice relieves chronic and acute pain, improves blood and lymphatic circulation, strengthens the immune system and vital force. Bone setting helps restore a state of inner calm because bone setters work closely with the nervous system, in addition to the skeletal and muscular systems.

PHYSICAL RELIEF

Excellent results can be achieved, particularly in cases of back pain, neck pain, sciatica, knee or shoulder pain, sprains, heel spurs, and certain visceral disorders. However, the effectiveness of the treatment will depend heavily on the patient's commitment, their desire to heal, and their ability to actively engage in the process of change.
